FAQ:

Are these shows really free?
Yes! All of our shows are 100% FREE. The sales from food and beverage sales help keep our events free so buy, buy, buy!

Where is Gateway Park?
Gateway Park is located on Sweeney Street in North Tonawanda, NY (a suburb of Buffalo, NY) along the beautiful Erie Canal. For directions click here.

Is there seating available or do we have to stand?
Unfortunately there is no seating available. All shows are general admission, standing room only. Chairs and blankets are prohibited from entering Gateway Park.

Are “All Ages” Admitted?
We encourage people of all age groups to come to our events. Children who are 16+ are admitted w/ ID. If a patron is under 16 they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Will there be food and beverages for sale?
Yes, both food and beverages will be sold at each event. A variety of dishes will be offered by festival vendors. Food may be purchased with cash with each vendor. To purchase beverages you must buy Drink Tickets from one of our many Ticket booths located throughout the festival grounds. If you want to save some money and time by not having to wait in line to buy drink tickets you may purchase beverage tickets in advance via Ticketmaster.com. You can prepurchase ticket packages of 12 tickets for only $9 each online only!

I am a boater who plans on coming to the event. Can we bring food and beverages into the park?
No, all food and beverages must be kept on your boat. Security personnel will be located along the dock area prohibiting such requests.

I ordered presale beverage tickets through Ticketmaster and didn’t receive them? What do I do?
There will be a “Tickets Not Received” list at the Beverage Ticket booth on the Corner of Webster and Sweeney Street. Please bring your ID and confirmation number with you to pick up your tickets.

Can I use my drink tickets at any show?
Yes, drink tickets may be used at any show. There are no refunds or exchanges.

If it rains is the concert still happening?
If it rains, each situation will be addressed according to the severity of the weather. In most cases yes, the show will go on. These are rain or shine shows. If you are unsure please check back here as our website will be the 1st place we will list any concert related info.

Where do I park?
There is no designated parking area for these shows. Parking is available throughout the city streets and neighboring parking lots of Tonawanda and North Tonawanda.

Can I meet the band?
If you are interested in meeting the band please email Notgoingtohappen@gatewayparkconcerts.com.

How can my band play the series?
If you are interested in performing at the Gateway Park Concert Series please email booking@gatewayparkconcerts.com or mail a press kit to Metropolitan Talent, 2930 Genesee street, Buffalo NY 14225. Submissions made in person will not be accepted unless otherwise pre-arranged.

What can I bring? What can't I bring?
• For safety reasons, we cannot allow backpacks or coolers onto the grounds.
• No outside food or beverage is allowed.
• No chairs or blankets.
• No Umbrellas.
• No wagons, carts, or pets are permitted.
• No bicycles, No skateboards, No scooters.
• Wheelchairs and medical scooters ARE permitted.
• Push Strollers for children ARE permitted.
• Video and Audio taping is strictly prohibited.
• No unauthorized vending.
• Weapons, illicit drugs, and other contraband are strictly prohibited.

Festival organizers and security personnel reserve the right to deny entry or remove from the festival anyone in violation of these policies.

Are you handicap accessible? What kind of accommodations are there?
The site is wheelchair-accessible. If you have a problem with accessibility at the venue, please check with the nearest festival staff person or volunteer for help. All stages will have an area designated for handicapped seating.

What type of restroom facilities will be available?
Porta-Johns, including a handicapped-accessible unit, will be located throughout the festival grounds.

Are pets allowed?
Only seeing eye dogs are allowed on festival grounds. Please make arrangements to leave your beloved pets at home.

Do you need people to work each event?
Yes. We have a variety of jobs for volunteers. Everything from answering questions to helping with the band catering. Let us know if you have any special skills. E-mail us at info@gatewayparkconcerts.com.

Are Cameras allowed?
Personal digital cameras and disposable cameras are allowed. Professional cameras are not. If you are someone looking to shoot the event please email press@gatewayparkconcerts.com.

Can I purchase music and merchandise by festival performers?
Yes, there will be a booth for artist and event merchandise (tee shirts, hats, and other items). These booths will accept cash only.
